Spain Festivals

Spain is known as a festival country and is visited by millions of tourists each year for specific and unique festivals with tours.

Spain holiday makers have the choice to participate in a host of festivals in all four seasons of the year.

Alongside the well-known festivals in Spain, smaller festivals specific to regions are also constantly organized in which tours are organized with hotel, accommodation and tour guide.

Spain holiday makers can opt to get a Spanish tour guide to participate in New Years festivals, bullfights and bull running at Santa Semana and Pamplona. Holiday makers may also want to participate in tomato fighting in Valencia or dance to the morning hours on the streets of Huesca in August. Ibiza is also a very popular and much loved area in Spain with its night life and festivals and decent Hotel and accommodation costs.

February is also a very popular time for festivals in Spain with two of the largest festivals taking place at the Canary Islands.

» Barcelona Festivals
24 September – Festes de la Merce / The festival consists of many events such as the human tower, parade of the giants, sports events, musical performances, fantastic firework displays and plenty of drinking.
23 April – Dia de Sant Jordi, / or St George’s Day is celebrated in Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia where men are accustomed to give a rose to women and women are accustomed to give a book to men.
23 June – Festival de Sant Joan / is a Catalan festival which celebrates the beginning of summer.
15 August – Festa Major de Gracia / Live music festival.
Mid-June – Festival de Sonar / A sinamatic festival which features many events.
End-of- June- Grec Arts Festival / Music and Play festival.

15 May – San Isidro Bullfighting festival.
9 November – AlmudenanSan isidro’s official starting festival.
Ağustos – La Paloma / The kings festival.
The first week of October – Festival de Otono / Welcome to Spring festival.
